Berkeley, CA – August 20, 2016: Fans that make a donation to Golden Gate Fields’ annual canned food drive on Sunday, August 21 will receive a free Club House admission pass to the races.

The food drive, which is held annually at Golden Gate Fields, will be setup in front of the admission gates at both the Club House and Grandstand entrances. First post on Sunday is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and gates will open at 10:00 a.m. for early bird wagering on the simulcast action.

Fans that bring food, or make a cash donation to the food drive will receive a Club House admission pass, valid for free entry into the races.

All proceeds from this year’s food drive will go to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, which has helped fight hunger in the East Bay since 1975.
